Bookings without putting the scissors down
Anyone who calls while you're cutting hears it ring or gets voicemail. Online, clients pick the service and time themselves, around the clock.
For hair salons
The phone rings in the middle of a cut. On your new website, clients book themselves, even after closing, and you pay no commission per appointment. We build it from your current website, and the preview is free.

Example
Plum & Pearl Hair Studio doesn't exist. We made it up as a test business, with a deliberately outdated website, and built the new site from it the same way we would build yours.
For hair salons
Anyone who calls while you're cutting hears it ring or gets voicemail. Online, clients pick the service and time themselves, around the clock.
A men's cut takes less time than balayage. Every service takes exactly its length in the calendar. If your current website names no length, we estimate it from the service, mark the estimate, and you adjust it in your customer area.
If several stylists work at the same time, set how many appointments can take place in parallel, for example one per chair.
Your services and prices are laid out clearly on the page. New prices from the first of the month, a new stylist or a vacation closure: one sentence to the AI assistant is enough.
Online booking
Online booking comes with your website and costs no commission per appointment. You decide how clients book:
Animated demo: in the week view of the customer area, a new appointment request appears for Thursday at 2 pm. The business confirms it, the appointment shows as confirmed, and the day before, the client automatically gets an email reminder.
Your clients automatically get a reminder before the appointment, with the address, a map and a calendar entry: 24 hours ahead, 2 hours ahead or both, as you choose.
Anyone who can't make it cancels through the link in their confirmation or reminder. The time opens up again, and you get an email.
If you like, you get the day's appointments and open requests by email every morning from 7 am.
Subscribe to your appointments in Apple Calendar, Google Calendar or Outlook.
On booking apps and marketplaces such as Booksy, Vagaro or StyleSeat, your salon can appear in a list next to other salons. Whether a commission or fees apply there is set by the app in its own terms.
With Closelift, clients book on your own website, under your domain. You pay a fixed monthly price with no commission per appointment, and only you see your appointments and inquiries.
What Closelift takes care of
We take over your text, services, prices, photos and hours and rewrite them for phones. Old addresses forward to the new pages.
You write in one sentence what should change. The assistant makes the change and publishes it right away, or shows it to you first if you choose. Up to 20 change requests a day are included in the price.
Your site runs on a worldwide network with SSL encryption and no ad trackers. We keep the technology up to date and back up your appointments and settings every day.
We connect your domain to the new site without downtime. Your email addresses stay as they are.
Structured data on your services, address and hours, a sitemap for search engines, and an llms.txt file that sums up your business's facts for AI assistants.
Most visitors come on a phone. Your site is built to load fast there, and calling or booking is always one tap away.

Questions
If you work alone, you pay from $39 a month. Salons with a team pay more. Hosting, updates, online booking and your changes through the AI assistant are included, and you can cancel any month. The preview is free; your exact offer comes with it.
No. Online booking is part of the monthly price, with no fee per appointment, however many appointments are booked.
Yes. We don't change anything about your profile there. If your current website already links to a booking app, we don't switch on our own booking without asking. If you use both, the calendars are separate: appointments from the app don't show up in your Closelift booking. Block times that are already taken there in your customer area, so your salon isn't double-booked.
Not at the moment. The booking hands out times for the whole salon: you set how many appointments are possible at the same time, and a time stays bookable until that many appointments take it. Clients write any wish about the stylist in the booking's message field.
An email reminds them before the appointment. Anyone who has to cancel does it through the link in their confirmation or reminder. The time opens up again for others to book, and you get an email.
You tell the AI assistant in one sentence, for example: “From March, a women's cut costs $65.” It makes the change right away, or shows it to you first if you choose. Up to 20 change requests a day are included in the price.
We lay the groundwork: your site describes your salon to search engines as a hair salon, with services, address and hours as structured data, plus a sitemap and an llms.txt file for AI assistants. Nobody can honestly promise a particular ranking.
